Twice a year (usually at the beginning of the semester), the ‘Welcome to DIT’ event takes place on the campus in Deggendorf.

All new employees are invited to this event, where they are once again warmly welcomed in a festive setting by members of the university management and other university representatives. The aim of the event is also to promote internal networking and to help new employees get to know each other.
